July 15-16th, Warsaw: International GLBT Business Leader Forum David Pollard will be a keynote speaker at the 3rd International GLBT Business Leader Forum to be held in Warsaw Poland in conjunction with Europride. David will be speaking on the IGLCC International Business Equality Index. Click here for more information on the event. June 9-11th, Amsterdam: Company Pride Platform and IGLCC International LGBT Business Conference C-2-C is the main organizer of Company Pride Platform and IGLCC International LGBT Business Conference. In addition to logistical, financial and organizational arrangements C-2-C was responsible for determining content for the conference as well as establishing contacts and securing the following speakers for the event: Belinda Pyke, Director for Equality between Men and Women at the EU Commission, Hans van Scherpenzeel, General Manager of the Shell Pernis Refinery, Boris Dittrich, Advocacy Director Human Rights Watch, Claudia Woody, Managing Director Intellectual Property Rights, IBM, and Andrée van Es, Alderman responsible for Diversity, City of Amsterdam. David Pollard, Managing Director of C-2-C was the Conference Moderator, and led a panel on the International Business Equality Index. Click here for more information on the conference. May 27, Paris: IBM's GLBT Leadership Conference David Pollard gave a keynote presentation to IBM's GLBT Leadership Conference which brought together 60 of IBM's LGBT executives and network leaders to focus on improving synergies and networking opportunities within this target group. Other speakers included top IBM executives and the Deputy Mayor of Paris. May 20-21st, Budapest: 1st Hungarian LGBT Business Leaders Forum C-2-C was a 'Professional Partner' to this event arranged in a joint-effort between the Hungarian Business Leaders Forum, IBM, Morgan Stanley, and Vodaphone and held at the Central European University in Budapest. Speakers included Mr. Peter Paal, Country General Mgr. for IBM Hungary, prominent Hungarian politician and activist Klara Ungar and a reception was given to participants by the British Ambassador to Hungary at the British Embassy. March 11-12, Vienna: World Diversity Leadership Summit Asked to represent the LGBT community in Europe, David Pollard, Managing Director of C-2-C spoke at this event which examined all types of diversity workplace issues. David used examples from his 20-year corporate and NGO experience to highlight that the international LGBT business community is a strong force that can play a bridge-building role between corporations, governments, and diverse communities. Click here for more information on the conference February 25, London: Launch ILGA Website at BT Head Office The new ILGA website was launched that highlights were homosexuality is legal or illegal around the world. This event brought together a number of parties concerned with this issues including C-2-C. David Pollard gave a presentation on the IGLCC International Business Equality Index in this regard.
